FreeAgent: another portable environment

It seems that if you are a hard drive or USB flash drive manufacturer you must have a portable computing environment to attract buyers. Seagate claim to be the world’s largest hard drive maker and have now launched their FreeAgent portable environment. It boasts the usual portable desktop environment, backup and data file synchronisation on special Seagate drives. The Seagate site is extremely annoying with far too much animation and no easy links to access the technical details. Robert Scoble’s edited highlights from his videocast are quite informative.
