Philfing Enters the Lexicon

In what is a typically British word I came across ‘philfing’ today. See the blog post from e-consultancy. It is usually applied to the hidden charges that mysteriously appear in the checkout pages when ordering products and services online. Wikipedia and the online dictionaries don’t appear to have caught up yet. It’s great to have an explicit term for this phenomenon but it is so hard to pronounce!
